The authors have carried out a research work in the field of descriptive epidemiology on a sample of luetics belonging to a large survey in the town of Cagliari [Italy]. Besides, they have analyzed the effects of the traditional therapy on the same group of patients following the change in time of two markers of syphilis: TPHA and cardiolipin.
