Epidemiological study of the type and frequency of malocclusion in children's population of pieria district greece


, : Epidemiological study of the type and frequency of malocclusion in children's population of pieria district greece. Odontostomatologike Proodos 39(4): 289-296

1245 Persons between 6 and 20 years old in Pieria District were examined and the type of their occlusion was recorded. 493 Individuals (39.58%) had good occlusion while the rest 752 (60.38%) presented a malocclusion: Of those 530 (42.57%) had a class I Angle's type of malocclusion, 149 (11.96%) a class II Division 1, 29 (2.23%) a class II division 2 and 44 (3.53%) a class III malocclusion.
