Epidemiological study on congenital malformations
An epidemiological study on congenital malformations in 2602 live newborns at Fe del Valle Maternity Hospital of Manzanillo Region, Cuba, was carried out during 6 mo., examining the mother, couple and family to learn incidence, frequency of different anomalies and association of risk factors (previous diseases, drugs, radiation during pregnancy, order of birth, fetal position, parents' consanguinity and history of malformation in their children).
