Evaluation of a liver transplant by technetium 99m labeled n di methylphenylcarbamoylmethylimino di acetic acid scintigraphy

, : Evaluation of a liver transplant by technetium 99m labeled n di methylphenylcarbamoylmethylimino di acetic acid scintigraphy. Journal of Nuclear Medicine 21(7): 657-659

In liver-transplant patients, it is always difficult to differentiate between rejection crises and extrahepatic biliary obstruction on the basis of standard biochemical tests alone. A case is reported of a patient who received a transplant following total hepatectomy performed because of a hepatoma. Scintigraphy with 99mTc N-(dimethylcarbamoylmethyl)iminodiacetic acid pointed conclusively to an obstructive process, which was confirmed at re-operation.

In 3 trials, menadione dimethylpyrimidinol bisulphite (MPB), a source of vitamin K, was given to growing pigs. In the first, groups of 12 pigs averaging 13.4 kg were given a basal diet of maize and soya bean oilmeal. After 10 days 1.1 mg of an ant...

Healy J.M., 1989: Spermiogenesis and spermatozoa in the relict bivalve genus neotrigonia relevance to trigonioid relationships particularly unionoidea. Spermiogenesis and spermatozoa in the relict trigonioid genus Neotrigonia are examined ultratructurally. Mature Neotrigonia spp. spermatozoa exhibit the following features: (1) a blunt-conical nucleus; (2) an acrosomal complex composed of discoida...

The major predicted changes were related to agricultural abando...
