Evaluation of removing de vitalized cervical tissue in the reduction of vaginal discharge after cervical cryo therapy a prospective study

Evaluation of removing de vitalized cervical tissue in the reduction of vaginal discharge after cervical cryo therapy a prospective study

Journal of Reproductive Medicine 26(5): 263-264

Women [36] undergoing cervical cryotherapy were assigned to 1 of 2 groups to determine whether active removal of the necrotic frozen cervical tissue would reduce the severity and duration of posttreatment vaginal discharge. In both groups the duration and severity of discharge were similar and were unrelated to removing the necrotic tissue or to leaving it in place.
