Left ventricular volume curves were evaluated by using radio-isotope angiocardiography (RI angiocardiography) synchronized with electrocardiograms (ECG), phonocardiograms (PCG) and carotidograms to calculate systolic time intervals (STI) in 104 cases with various heart diseases and in 13 normal subjects. Left ventricular ejection time (LVET) was measured from the up-stroke (US) to the dicrotic notch (DN) on the carotidogram.
