The Zn determination and amino acid composition of tea (Thea sinensis) seed alcohol dehydrogenase was described. o-Phenanthroline and monoiodoacetic acid were potent inhibitors of tea seed alcohol dehydrogenase. They may interact with the Zn and cysteine residues in the active center.
