Experience in evaluating the role of aerosol pollution in the total vegetation pollution in nuclear power station areas

Experience in evaluating the role of aerosol pollution in the total vegetation pollution in nuclear power station areas
A method was described for evaluating extraradical pollution of plants in the presence of general pollution. This method was based on statistical processing of observation data on pollutant concentration in plants, soil and air (or atmospheric precipitation). Aerial radioactive pollution of the vegetative cover near nuclear power stations may have played a decisive role in 137Cs uptake by plants.
