Experience in the treatment of diabetes insipidus with tegretol
The use of tegretol in a dose of 200-600 mg/day in 12 patients with diabetes insipidus improved their general condition, reduced thirst, reduced the 24-h diuresis and increased the specific gravity of the urine. A positive effect of tegretol together with chlorpropamide was noted in a patient with diabetes mellitus and insipidus.
