, : Extending onion storage life by gamma irradiation. Journal of Food Processing & Preservation 7(1): 19-24

Gamma irradiation effects on onion bulbs were studied. The treatment was effective in reducing weight loss and increasing the percent marketable bulbs. Radiation-induced darkening in marketable irradiated bulbs had no influence on their inner aspect.
