, : Extension fracture of distal end of the radius associated with fracture of the carpal scaphoid report of 2 cases. Zhonghua Guke Zazhi 4(5): 302-303

Two cases of extension fracture of the distal end of the radius associated with fracture of the carpal navicular are reported. Dorsal displacement and radial deviation of the distal fragment is usually severe, and the associated naviclar fracture should be given special attention otherwise misdiagnosis is not uncommon. These cases were treated with 4 pieces of wooden splints, immobilizing the wrist in palmar flexion and ulnar deviation for 40-50 days, and the final functional result is satisfactory.
