Storage time greately influenced the germination and guinea grass seedling vigor. Polyethylene bags did not provide adequate conditions for germination and seed development. Heavier seed had a greater germination percentages compared to seeds classified as light and mixed (heavy + light + impurities), indicating the importance of grain classification to obtain a better quality product.
