Data are presented on the effect of temperature, daylength, physical factors, chemical stimulators and storage period and conditions on the germination of E. thaxteriana spores isolated from Acyrthosiphon pisum. The germination of resting spores of the entomopathogenic fungus E. thaxteriana depended, to a great degree, on the environment. Only 25-30% of the spores produced by deep cultivation germinated immediately after they were placed in a favorable environment. A combination of various stimulation methods may significantly increase the level of resting fungal spores, which will increase the activity of the biopreparation based on these spores.
