Features of humus state in nonirrigated and irrigated chestnut soils in buryat assr russian sfsr ussr

Humus of the chestnut soils in Buryat ASSR possesses a number of regional features, which are not typical for the analogous soils of western regions of the USSR. Irrigation increases the humus content and supply and some changes in humus composition. The degree of humus state transformation increases with the duration of irrigation.
