Formocresol pulpotomies were performed on 154 roots from 86 deciduous teeth in 12 puppies. Four formocresol concentrations were used. Histopathological pulpal changes were observed 2 wk after pulpotomy. A great difference in the pathological pulpal changes according to the formocresol concentrations used was not observed. Of all the concentrations, moderately favorable changes were frequently seen in the original Buchley's formula used.
