Homoeotic transformation of antennae, legs and wings was studied in simple Nasobemia (Ns), Antennapedia (Antp49 and Antp50), Polycomb (Pc1 and Pc2), Contrabithorax (Cbx) and engrailed (en) stocks as well as in pairwise combined Ns/Cbx, Pc/Cbx, en/en; Ns/+, en/en; Pc/+ stocks. Antennae to legs transformation (due to Ns and Antp), as well as 2nd and 3rd legs transformation to legs of the 1st pair type (due to Pc), remained prctically unaffected by either Cbx or en. Ns, Antp, and Pc enhanced the wings to halters transformation caused by Cbx and en. Ns, Antp and Pc loci are involved in genetic control of wing discs determination.
