Abstract
The Indian species of the genus Frullania which have entire (undivided) amphigastria show interesting distribution, being confined in the Himalayas (eastern and western). There are 7 spp. belonging to this group: F. duthiana Steph., F. evelynae Hatt. et Thaith, F. hattoriantha Udar et Nath, F. physantha Mitt., F. retusa Mitt., F. sharpantha Udar et Kumar and F. yunnanensis Steph.
