With an increase in the strength of the ultrahigh frequency field the sensitivity of the [dog] hypophyseal-adrenal system increased and activity of the blood anticoagulation system decreased. Functional changes in these systems repeatedly exposed to ultrahigh frequency effects could be considered as adaptive reactions with a delayed resistance at a flux density of 50-80 mW/cm2.
