Great sculpin myoxocephalus polyacanthocephalus cottidae reproduction in the waters near kamchatka russian sfsr ussr

Voprosy Ikhtiologii 24(4): 601-608

Great sculpin fecundity, sexual maturity rate and spawning conditions were studied in Dec.-Feb. 1978-1980. Data were presented on the mean sizes of males and females from various age groups, changes in great sculpin fecundity caused by increases in body wt [weight], body length and age. Equations were derived for the correlations between absolute fecundity and body wt, body length and age. Two great sculpin populations may exist in the waters near Kamchatka.
