Humus of forest soils in the voronezh oblast russian sfsr ussr

Humus of forest soils in the voronezh oblast russian sfsr ussr

Pochvovedenie (4): 148-150

The humus content and composition in gray forest and floodplain-forest soils were studied. Characteristics of humus composition of floodplain-forest soils were compared with those of gray forest soils of watersheds, and were connected with the specifics of flooded soil formation. Forest soils of the typical forest-steppe are distinguished by humus of higher mobility than soils of the southern forest-steppe.
