Impulse cyto photometric studies on the dna content of human cell nuclei

Variation of cellular DNA content in human cell nuclei of several organs was studied using pulse cytophotometric measurements in postmortal tissues of phenotypical healthy persons. The median value of fluorescence intensity of diploid nuclei of the same person shows a range of variation up to 30%, whereas the cell nuclei of liver and spleen exhibit the largest deviations compared with the average value of all investigated organs.
