Incorporation of fertilizer nitrogen from different soil horizons into plant proteins

In studies it was shown that fertilizer N from lower horizons of a grey forest soil entered the plant [Fagopyrum esculentum] at the late period of development. 15N-incorporation into proteins to vegetative and reproductive organs occurred proportionally to the amount of protein fractions.
