Incorporation of fertilizer nitrogen into globulin components of aleurone grains in the course of plant seed development

Incorporation of fertilizer nitrogen into globulin components of aleurone grains in the course of plant seed development

Fiziologiya Rastenii 29(4): 762-766

Preparative electrophoresis was used to demonstrate the nature of incorporation of 15N into proteins of separate components of the globulins of aleurone grains in the process of buckwheat [cv. Yubileinaya 2] seed development. The bulk of fertilizer N accumulated in component 2, which represents the 13S globulin.
