Influence of field conditions fertilizing and humus supply on yields on crop rotation fertilizing experiments at seehausen east germany
The possibility of producing more than 100 decitons/ha per year (dt/ha/a) cereal units (GE) was indicated. The highest yield can be achieved for each soil utilization type (BNT) by combined mineral-organic fertilizing. A closer analysis of BNT III yielded a yield potential of 11 dt/ha/a per ton of stable manure. About 50% of the yield achieved was derived from nutrient potential of the soil. By growing clover and alfalfa in the mid-portion of the crop rotation 30-50 kg/ha mineral N could be saved. Positive relationship between available humus and crop yield was confirmed.
