Abstract
The effects of varying soil moisture content on vegetative and reproductive growth of P. vulgaris L. 'White Baguio' were investigated. Water stress reduced stem elongation and leaf growth but increased leaf chlorophyll content. It also delayed flower formation with subsequent reduction in seed and fruit yield.
