Influence of time and temperature factor on results of prothrombin time test

Influence of time and temperature factor on results of prothrombin time test

Revista Cubana de Medicina 26(9): 1072-1076

Prothrombin time test was performed to 24 adult patients without anticoagulant treatment. Prothrombin time test was performed at the time the sample was taken and after 4, 6 and 24 hours, under variable temperature conditions. Non-significant difference was found.
