Inheritance of resistance to foot and root rot caused by phytophthora nicotianae var nicotianae in tomato lycopersicon

Inheritance of resistance to foot and root rot caused by phytophthora nicotianae var nicotianae in tomato lycopersicon

Euphytica 32(1): 103-110

Different levels of resistance to foot and root rot caused by P. nicotianae var. nicotianae were found, with the highest level in 4 American lines. The resistance of these lines depends on 1 incompletely dominant major gene. [Test material included L. esculentum, L. pimpinellifolium, L. hirsutum, L. peruvianum, L. glandulosum and L. chilense.].
