Inheritance studies on stem and seed coat color in bengal gram cicer arietinum



Journal of Maharashtra Agricultural Universities 9(2): 151-152



An inheritance of stem color (3:1), axiL color (3:1), pedicle color (3:1), corolla color (3:1), vein color (3:1) and seed coat color (9:3:4) of gram was reported. Factor Lvco was common for corolla color, stem color, axil color, pedicel color and vein color. The factor Lvco for stem color was different and independent from the 2 supplementary factors Brsco and Ysco for seed coat color.
