Interaction between bean common mosaic virus and bean yellow mosaic virus in relation to morphological characters of bean plants phaseolus vulgaris

Interaction between bean common mosaic virus and bean yellow mosaic virus in relation to morphological characters of bean plants phaseolus vulgaris

Ain Shams University Faculty of Agriculture Research Bulletin (1606): 1-14

Bean common mosaic virus (BCMV) and bean yellow mosaic virus (BYMV) either alone or together reduced the height of bean plants, the number of leaves, flowers, seeds and weight of seeds, and the chlorophyll and carotenoid contents. An antagonistic effect between the 2 viruses was detected.
