Equations for determining temperature of warming up and cooling grain in the course of respective processes of warmth exchange are quoted in the paper. The analysis and laboratory tests have proved that the following factors affect the temperature of warming up and cooling grain: moisture of grain, its initial temperature, temperature of the factor and velocity of its flow, layer thickness of the material and duration of the process. The equations are of a great utility and can be applied in the engineer's practice.
