Is there any evidence for a genetic basis of hand clasping?

Is there any evidence for a genetic basis of hand clasping?

Journal of Heredity 67(2): 111-113

Human social behavior from the standpoint of hand clasping is discussed from the genetic standpoint. Environment factors such as age, sex and ethnic group play a role in this determination; however, bone growth and ossification is considered primary. Other theories from twin data and family studies are compared and evaluated.
