KALINCKACORIS matucanae gen. et sp. nov., of the subfamily Lygainae, is described from Peru. The relationships with Melanopleurus Stal, a related genus, are analyzed. A key is given for the genera of this subfamily [including Oncopeltus, Orsillacis, Nicuesa, Acroleucus, Ochrimnus, Lygaeospilus, Neacoryphus, Craspeduchus, Lygaeus, Melanopleurus and Kalinckacoris].
