Laboratory breeding of 4 egg parasitoids of triatoma infestans hemiptera heteroptera reduviidae

Preliminary results on the laboratory biology of parasitoids obtained from the eggs of T. infestans klug exposed inside traps place in wild forests, are reported. Anastatus excavatus De Santis, A. charitos De Santis, Oolathron mireuyae De Santis and Ooencyrtus venatorius De Santis et Vidal, were the parasitoids studied. Development period, life span, descendants/egg, descendants/female and rate of parasitism were the characteristics considered.
