Laboratory diets and qualitative nutritional requirements for bryozoans

Laboratory diets and qualitative nutritional requirements for bryozoans

Zoologischer Anzeiger 205(5-6): 333-344

Some basic and qualitative nutritional requirements of bryozoans are discussed. Principles and precautions for establishing laboratory diets for bryozoans are summarized. Species of different classes of protistans should be combined for foods. Various examples of adaptations of this basic principle to the special requirements of different bryozoan species and to different ranges of salinity are compiled.
