Antimicrobial activity of 15 compounds of 2-(alkyl/acyl mercapto)-9-methyl and-7,9-dimethyl quinolino(3:4)oxazoles was evaluated against 5 Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Sarcina lutea ad Bacillus megaterium, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and Botryodiplodia theobromae by paper disc method.
