Abstract
Under ambient temperature and humidity conditions of Calcutta and 40.degree. C, as well as under ambient warm humid conditions. The hydration-dehydration treatments improve the field performance of the crop. The fiber yield per plant was greater in the water-soaking-drying treated seeds than in the untreated control.
