The S part of the Ossau valley [France] has many Middle Devonian calcareous deposits. Two of the stratigraphic layers are described: the Pic d'Estremere and Pene de Peyreget layers. Tetracorallarians found belong to the families Stringophyllidae, Columnariidae, Cyathophyllidae, Cystiphylloidae, Acanthophyllidae, Disphyllidae and Zaphrentidae [Stringophyllum buchelense, Tabulophyllum sp., Dendrostella rhenana, Cyathophyllum ceratites, Cystiphylloides spp., Diplochone sp., Acanthophyllum spp., Grypophyllum spp., Dohmophyllum wedkindi, Temnophyllum sp., Phacellophyllum spp., Disphyllum glodfussi, Heterophrentis prolifica, Siphonophrentis elongata, Heliophyllum rhopaliseptatum]. Descriptions of Phacellophyllum ossalense sp. nov. Peneckiella pyrenaica sp. nov., P. ramondi sp. nov. and Phillipsastrea beneharnica sp. nov. are also given.
