Abstract
Linear and volumetric morphometry was performed in basic groups of body muscles of the Black Sea C. helgolandicus, structural and functional parameters are reported. The largest integral values of rate, strength and power of muscle contraction at the working stage of the jump-type locomotor act were found by high speed filming and synchronous electron tensometry in crayfishes fixed to the gage.
