The cytotoxicity of allogenic human lymphocytes was measured by 51Cr release from the target cells (HSC-1). The null cell fraction as well as the T cell fraction treated with anti-T cell monoclonal antibody showed cytotoxicity against the target cells; this was not enhanced by the addition of monocytes. Apparently, the observed killing was natural killer-like cytotoxicity. Enhancement of cytotoxicity was observed when OK-432 was present in the culture of lymphocytes.
