Abstract
A description of new records is presented from materials collected during expeditions to the northern Armenian SSR: Corallorhiza trifida Chatel., Lychnis flos-cuculi L. (= Coronaria flos-cuculi (L.) Braun.), Oenothera biennis L. (= Onagra biennis (L.) Scop.), Asplenium haussknechtii God. et Reut., Woodsia alpina (Bolton) Gray, Ephedra distachya L., Orchis sphaerica Bieb., Coeloglossum viride (L.) Hartman., Trigonella lunata Boiss. and T. radiata (L.) Boiss. Pyrola media Swartz, Orthilia secunda (L.) House Physochlaina orientalis (Bieb) G. Don. and Jurinea praetermissa Galushke et Nemirova are also described. Some species and some genera are new for the northern Armenian SSR, the Armenian SSR and the Lesser Caucasus. Some species were found only for the 2nd time and some species are rare and unique. The majority of northern Armenian species are widely distributed in Europe. The possible existence of close bonds between the northern Armenian flora and the Euro-Siberian flora is noted. The validity of the inclusion of the northern section of the Armenian SSR into the Caucasian Circumboreal province of the Boreal subkingdom is reconfirmed.
