New species of the genus spongostylum diptera bombyliidae from central asia

Two new species of the genus Spongostylum are described from the Pamirs [USSR]. S. admirabile has a body covered by numerous, scales, an abdomen framed by fiery-red hairs, and a frons covered densely by metal-brilliant scales. S. robusculum has a frons with black hairs, a face with white hairs, transparent wings with round dark spots on the transverse veins; bundles of dark hairs and scales on the sides of II, IV and V abdominal tergites and a long phallus with its apex hooked.
