On the fat water relationship in the liver of the major carp cirrhina mrigala

Indian Journal of Fisheries 21(2): 585-587
On the fat water relationship in the liver of the major carp cirrhina mrigala
An inverse relationship was observed between fat and H2O contents in the liver of the common major carp, C. mrigala. This relationship in the liver was found to vary very little under different annual conditions, and, within a seasonal cycle, remained almost the same for different phases of feeding, gonad maturation and growth.
