Abstract
The exact separation of B. ruficorne from R. millerianum is difficult, the coloration of the antennae and the genitals of males not showing utilizable differences. It is possible to use the pointation of the 6th stria on the elytra for separation of the species. Specimen (159) of B. millerianum and B. ruficorne (171) from the Alps, Carpathians, Rila Dagh mountains and the Caucasus are used for statistical analysis.
