Pancreatic nitrogen of albino rats submitted to various levels of alimentary restriction

The concentration of pancreatic nitrogen was studied in albino rats which received a diet containing 20% of casein in restricted amounts (4, 6 or 8 g daily), for 24 days. The control group received the same diet ad lib. The 3 experimental groups presented a high content of pancreatic N when compared to the control group. The alimentary frequency and the malnutrition produced by alimentary restriction were considered.
