Paper folding as a therapeutic device
Paper folding can open the door to the understanding of how a child will use his therapeutic hour and his relationship with the therapist. The child's general coordination, the movements of the small muscles of the hands and his laterality and finger dexterity are also indicated. Observations of the temperamental qualities of the child may give a clue to his classroom behavior since the learning task presented is comparable to the classroom situation.
