Post thrombotic leg ulcers treated with high doses of mesoglycan

Gazzetta Medica Italiana Archivio per le Scienze Mediche 146(6): 273-278
Post thrombotic leg ulcers treated with high doses of mesoglycan
The authors, after reviewing the most important pathogenetic elements of post-thrombotic syndrome, refer their experience with a new fibrinolytic drug: the mesoglycan. They examine this drug's action and that of commonly used elastic-compressive therapy. The healing time of post-thrombotic leg ulcers is reported in 20 patients treated with mesoglycan and in 20 patients treated with elastic-compression method, and comparison is made.
