Potential psychotropic compounds part 12 synthesis and structure of new butyrophenones with a 1 3 di oxa 9 aza spiro 5 5 undecane neuroleptic activity



European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry 12(1): 35-40



Eight new butyrophenones with a 1,3-dioxa 9-aza spiro [5.5] undecane ring were synthesized. Their pharmacology was examined [in rats] and compared to that of haloperidol. These compounds show a similar activity, particularly one of the compounds. The intensity of the effects was weaker than these of haloperidol.
