Preparation of dna immuno globulin clathrates 2. properties and composition

, : Preparation of dna immuno globulin clathrates 2. properties and composition. Boletin de Estudios Medicos y Biologicos Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico 30(1-3): 19-26

Simplified methods for the formation of virus-like clathrates of DNA-Ig are described. In these new methods the formation of clathrates does not require incubation and dialysis of DNA and IgG, as in previous methods. The optimal ratio of DNA and IgG to form the clathrates was 1 part of DNA and 400 parts of IgG, yielding a product with 29% DNA and 71% IgG. This complex contains approximately 178 molecules of IgG and 1 molecule of DNA.
