The udders of Lebedin heifers were subjected to mechanized massage. The massage had a positive effect on the growth and development of the mammary gland and increased its milk productivity. A definite stereotype developed in heifers during their preparation for lactation. This stereotype facilitated successful use of the heifers in milk production complexes.
