Preparation of high titered rabbit anti mouse immuno globulin e sera

, : Preparation of high titered rabbit anti mouse immuno globulin e sera. Immunological Communications 6(5): 473-482

A method for the consistent production of rabbit anti-mouse Ig[immunoglobulin]E sera is described. Rabbits were immunized i.v. with IgE-anti-normal mouse serum mixtures over 8-12 wk. Ten microliters of the anti-mouse IgE sera completely neutralized all the mouse IgE in the serum (50 .mu.l) possessing a passive cutaneous anaphylaxis titer of 20,000.
